Peace & Conflict Prevention/Resolution is one of Rotary International’s Areas of Focus.  A Rotary goal is to support peacebuilding in communities.

Rotary Zones 33 & 34 will soon launch the largest local peacebuilding initiative in the history of Rotary International – Youth & Peace in Action: Engaging Young Community Peacebuilders.
With support from 22 Districts in Rotary Zones 33 & 34, we are committing $500,000 to provide peace education, training and project mentoring in collaboration with established peacebuilding partners. Our focus is high school students, teachers and youth service club members in communities where we serve.

We’re putting youth at the center of building and sustaining a culture of peace.

Peter Kyle, Rotary International Director (RID) 2020-22

The Four-Way Test

Of the things we think, say, or do:

1. Is it the TRUTH?

2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?

3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?

4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
