Peter Kyle receives alumni award

Pete KylePeter Kyle, an attorney and global legal reform expert, is the recipient of the 2009-10 Global Alumni Service to Humanity Award, The Rotary Foundation's top honor for alumni. Peter is a member of Capital City Rotary Club in Washington, DC, in D7620 in zone 33. More

Peter is the second alumnus in three years from Zone 33 to receive this award. Former U.S. ambassador Phil Lader from Hilton Head Island, SC, in D7770 was presented the award at the 2008 Convention.


Anne Matthews elected trusteeAnne Matthews

PDG Anne Matthews, 7770, began a four-year term as a trustee of the Rotary Foundation July 1. As district Foundation chair, Anne led her district to become a leading contributor to the Foundation. As immediate past RRFC for Zone 33, she worked toward 100 percent contributions from each club in the zone. She is currently serving as a member of the Future Vision Committee. Anne served as governor in 1999-2000. She received an overhwlming round of applause when she was introduced at the 2919 RI Convention June 22.
